Leading figures from institutions, the business world and the professions attended the fourth edition of the ‘Camaiora&Friends’ charity evening promoted by The Skill Group in aid of the Opera orfani Arma dei Carabinieri (ONAOMAC), held on Wednesday 3 December in Rome in the heart of the Parioli district.
Many figures from the worlds of media, the judiciary, law, healthcare, politics and culture responded to the appeal for generosity launched, as is tradition, by the CEO of The Skill, Andrea Camaiora, and General Giuseppe Petrella. Among them were singer Silvia Salemi and renowned criminal lawyer Michele Laforgia, the president of the association of aerospace, defence and security companies Giuseppe Cossiga and the leader of Noi Moderati, Maurizio Lupi, the deputy minister of justice, Francesco Paolo Sisto, as well as the president of the Senate Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee, Stefania Craxi, the undersecretary for education Paola Frassinetti and the president of INPS, Gabriele Fava, and FASI, Daniele Damele, the director of Affari Italiani, Marco Scotti, journalist and television personality Francesca Parisella, the CEOs of Fintecna, Mario Valducci, Nucleco, Fabrizio Scolamacchia, Acquirente Unico CEO Giuseppe Moles, and RSE CEO Franco Cotana, together with Fincantieri Infrastrutture President Nuccio Altieri and Ferrotramviaria President Giuseppe Pavoncelli. Also present were Isabella Bertolini, member of the CSM (High Council of the Judiciary), Rai directors Paolo Corsini and Francesco Giorgino, magistrate Cosimo Ferri, and Giorgio Averni, president of the Antico Tiro a Volo shooting club. Many senior officers were present: Carabinieri generals Salvatore Musso, head of the Carabinieri Orphans’ Fund, and Giuseppe Petrella, one of the promoters of the initiative, as well as Admiral Fabio Agostini, commander of the Interregional Maritime Centre and Capital, Brigadier General Michele Minenna, head of the Air Force Commissariat and Administration Service, General Fernando Giancotti, former president of CASD, and General Giorgio Cuzzelli, professor of Strategic Studies. There were also several representatives from the political world, including PD members Massimo Caleo and Walter Verini, and MPs Alessandro Cattaneo, Luca Squeri and Dario Damiani. They were joined by Palazzo Chigi executives Pompeo Savarino and Francesco Tufarelli, Luca Zaia’s spokesperson Walter Milan, and Minister Calderone’s spokesperson Gianmario Mariniello.
There was a strong representation from trade associations, companies and professions: Paola Perrotti (Bistoncini Partners), Davide Cilli (Com.Tel), Giorgio Spaziani Testa (Confedilizia), Andrea Morbelli (Open Gate), Ylenia Berardi (Avio Aero), Roberta Acocella (MBDA), Davide Rogai (Confindustria Albania), lawyers Luca Bolognini, Antonio Bana, Sarah Bignazzi and Nicolò Bandera, Paola Mascaro (Accenture) Domenica Lenato and Mauro Petrarulo (Polis Avvocati), Domenico Giugni, Sauro Bellante, Valeria Venuto (Anas), Barbara Matera, Giovannantonio Macchiarola (Enav), Marco Bellinvia, Augusto Fusco (Gemelli), Yazan Al Sahli (Paidea), Alessio Rossi (Imaco), Andrea Corradino (President of Fondazione Carispezia).
The event, which concluded with a performance by comedian Loris Fabiani, aka Lunanzio, was sponsored by Polis Avvocati Associati, Sogin, Aiad, Ferrotramviaria spa, Cipierre elettronica, Aiop Lombardia, Airleg and Circolo Antico Tiro a Volo. ‘The evening raised over €13,000, which will be immediately allocated to the families of these servants of the state whom we do not want to and cannot forget,’ explain Andrea Camaiora and Giuseppe Petrella.
